Pattern: Gentleman's Socks with Lozenge PatternYarn: Lisa Souza's Sock Yarn in "Wild Things"
Needles: Size 1 and Size 0 Susan Bates DPN's
Notes: I started these not too long ago, but the pattern slowed me down a little. The heels were done on size 0's because I knit looser when I knit back and forth. I think they came out really nicely, and may just be my favorite socks to date. I think I may have to make myself a pair soon, but not too soon, I am over that pattern for right now! (That's my living room wall in the background. Thought the color would be perfect for the background to these socks.)
Pattern: There really wasn't oneYarn: Lisa Souza's Alpaca in "Sea Glass" and Sock Yarn in "South Pacific"
Needles: Size 1 Brittany DPN's
Notes: I just cast on and shoved an elastic headband in the middle before I joined the two ends together. Then just knit around and around until the ends met, though I didn't seam them because I wanted there to be a lot of stretch. My Mother wears headbands almost every day, and because of that I think this will be just the thing for her. I wasn't able to get the ear warmer done, but these will have to do in the meantime. I hope that she loves them, I think that the colors are fantastic and should look nice with lots of different outfits.

Nice socks!! I like the color a lot too! Hey I think I am finally inspired enough to try knitting a pair of socks, since I will have a LOT of time to knit on the plane in January. Do you have a recommendation for a nice 'first sock' experience?
