Wait until you see my sock! Er, my SECOND sock, that is - the first one, I kinda needed to do a little surgery on the heel, so I'm going to hang it on the Christmas tree and call it a stocking, but the second one - much improved - looks like a halfway decent knitter knitted it! Turned the heel - no problemo! You'll be so proud - I'll send you a pic when I'm back from LA!

Oh, Shelley! You finished a sock! I am SO happy! Was the gauge good? Would you be able to wear them? I was a little worried....I hope you can. You can always run in and buy another ball of the Dale and make a matching one for the second sock. :)
I think Christmas decor is a great idea for the first one. :)
Can't wait to see it when you get back. We should schedule a knitting lunch soon.
