Ravelry

As I am not usually one to follow a trend, I labored over the decision to sign up for Ravelry. Is it a fad? Will people be over it in a few months time? I don't want to start something (and transfer all of my files over) if it won't be around for a long long time. With that in mind, I decided to wait.
Then it hit me...what if it's not a fad. What if every online knitter ends up at Ravelry and I am one of the only ones not there? I didn't want to be left out...so I signed up.

Turns out that I didn't need to worry about it all that much. I am pretty far back in the queue:
  • You signed up on Yesterday
  • You are #25895 on the list.
  • 16530 people are ahead of you in line.
  • 312 people are behind you in line.
  • 34% of the list has been invited so far
I would like to add that when I signed up yesterday, I checked my stats immediately and there were already 3 people behind me in line. That means that since yesterday (not even 24 hours later) 309 knitters have signed up for Ravelry...wow.

Yeah, it's huge. I got my invite about a month ago, it's a lot of fun, I've used it for organizing my FO's and putting up a design portfolio :)
