Pink lady knits

Works in Progress

There are several things on the needles over here at Chez Pink Lady (which you can always check the progress of with the nifty new progress meters in the sidebar.)
The first of which is The Gentleman's Fancy Socks from Knitting on the Road by Nancy Bush. They are being knit in a pink and brown sock yarn from Woolworks on size 0 needles. I really like this pattern, and the way it is knitting up, but I have been having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. I think April and May (Project Spectrum's pink, orange, and green months) will motivate me. Here is the first sock, in progress:

The second is the "Airy Wrap-Around Cardi" from Fitted Knits by Stefanie Japel. I am knitting it in Lion Brand "Romance" in a leafy green color. I hope it comes out well, it's a very quick knit so far, though I am not going to do the cable detail on the body. Here it is in progress:

The third is the "Raglan V-Neck Sweater", also from Fitted Knits by Stefanie Japel. It is being knit in the largest size for my husband, and I hope it turns out well. There is no shaping because she achieves it all with ribbing and smaller needles, so I will need to add some in since he doesn't want the ribbing. Here it is in progress:

I began working on a pair of Jaywalkers in Austermann Step, but I am not liking how tight they are, so I am going to rip them out and make them into the Gentleman's Plain Winter Stockings from Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush (shown in the book.) Here they are as is, waiting to be started over:

Hey! I like the new look! Those socks are great, I love the colour combination. I've been seeing a lot of pink and brown in windows here. And I bow down to your size 0 knitting, I think I would probably end up stabbing myself ;)

It is nice that my wife loves me so much that she is finally knitting the sweater that I asked for two years ago. But hey, nobody ever accused anyone in our house of being punctual.

Whoa, knits abound over there, eh!? You've been a busy girl! Now that the big wedding's over, we have to meet and knit - I LOVE all the stuff you've made! Let me know when you're planning to go to the shop and I'll meet you - oh, and what about Maryland Sheep and Wool, May 5? Will you be around?
Hope to see you soon!

You have been knitting up a storm! I love the cape. Absolutely my favorite.

You'll have to wear it out to lunch ... with me! ;-)

The Husband is funny! :P

I like the pink and brown socks, though the picture makes it look pink and greenish, at least on my monitor. Can you do an updated picture of the wrap around cardi? I'm gettin' impatient!
