Pink lady knits

One day this will resemble a shawl...

I've made more progress on my Irish Diamond Shawl. It is starting to actually resemble a shawl, but there are several more repeats that need to be done before it is a proper length. Then, of course, there is a whole other lace pattern to complete...so, not much progress, but some.

Very pretty! I like that one a lot! I am thinking of doing some more lace-y things. I'm interested in seeing the headband that you pick out for your mom!

Thanks! Glad to have a compliment on it. It's the one I started at the knitting shop class, but I only get to work on it in stolen moments with all the Christmas Knitting, and I always end up feeling guilty about it afterwards!
The Liesel pattern scarf I knit for charity is a great first lace project, and doesn't use much yarn. You need to be sure to use an all natural fiber though, so that the lace will block out. Mostly natural will do as well.
She guessed what I am making her, I know her so well! :)

Yeah I made a liesel scarf for my Mom a few weeks ago, and it came out really nice! A lot easier than I expected, (after I got used to the pattern - the first few times were a little trying!) I'm definitely hooked, so after the holidays, I'm gonna try and find some patterns for me! I can't wait to start knitting things that I can wear! :o)

That does, indeed, look "beautious" ... I'll be interested to see the next version of your knitting lists, and what's been completed!
