Yarn Pron Friday....

Ahhhh, isn't it lovely!?
This my friends is Lisa Souza 100% Superfine Alpaca in "Seaglass".

I am not sure if you can tell from the photo, but it is the SOFTEST yarn. Squishy and just ever so slightly furry (but in the very best of ways, of course.)

The color goes from the blue of the Bermudian ocean to an almost snowy white. It suits my mood today perfectly, so I had to share. (Plus, it matches the sharpie I am using to write with this afternoon.)

200 yards of this yarn is destined to become Branching Out for my Mother for Christmas. The remaining lovliness will be for me (me, me, me!) After the scarf there will be another 400 yards (that's right, 400 yards leftover) and I am thinking socks. It is sportweight, so they will be thicker socks, maybe the Bed Socks from the book I bought myself as a treat yesterday afternoon, Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks.

What yummy yarn!! I can't decide what would feel nicer, to have it wrapped around your neck or your feet lol. Either way, I think the scarf and socks will be awesome :)

LOL, I totally agree. Maybe I'll buy more and do both! (Seems like the very best solution!)
