Post Bermuda Update

Well, I did no knitting in Bermuda. It is such a beautiful place, and I was so well looked after that I had no down time to knit (except on the plane...which was only enough time to result in one lace repeat on the Irish Diamond Shawl.)
However, I have completed one of the Jaywalker socks for my Mother's Birthday and also the hat for my husband for Christmas. The color of the socks on this photo does the yarn NO justice. It is beautiful, and can be seen here in it's truer form. This means that I have updates to my list of projects to be completed:

Sorry to hear you didn't get any knitting done, but I'm glad that you were able to thoroughly enjoy your trip! Matt hung out with VJ on Saturday while I worked, and then we all went out to a movie that night. And I actually stayed up for it this time! We'll have to all go again soon. I'm having a lot of fun reading up on your knitting adventures! I finally finished my first scarf, and now I'm attempting a wrap around sweater, we'll see how it goes. Hope to see you soon! :o)

Hey girl,
Yeah, I think it was best that I didn't knit, it made the trip much more enjoyable all around. Bermuda is just the MOST beautiful place.
Can't believe you stayed up for the movie, that's great! He said he liked it, but that there were some annoying people in the theatre (as usual.)
So, you finished a scarf? I can't wait to see how it turned out! Good luck with the wrap around sweater!

hey yoko!
I know, I am so happy with the progress, you have no idea! i love the hat, but I am a little worried...it fits me! he has a HUGE head and mine is teeny tiny...but, we'll see!
I haven't watched Nigella yet! :( VJ was supposed to record it for me while I was in Bermuda, but forgot. SO, I have to catch up on the second episode, since I can't find a rerun of the 1st.
