Notes: This sweater was a joy to knit. I really enjoyed the garter stitch (I'm very fond of a good garter stitch), and the lace pattern as well. The lace was a bit daunting at first, though very simple. I'm not sure why I had such a hard time with it, but once I wrangled it, the sweater was a breeze.
I enjoyed working with this yarn, it's the first time I have (if you can believe it), and it didn't dissapoint. The color variation is wonderful, there are hints of pure indigo, and threads of green running throughout the beautiful peacock blue.
The buttons were purchased special, and I'm really pleased with how well they work with the sweater. I toyed with the idea of using something that contrasted, like a vibrant red, pale green, or even a lilac...but ultimately decided that this sweater needed buttons of the same color, and I'm glad I did.
This is my final entry into the Ravelympics WIP Wrestling Event. I can't believe I finished it along with my Endpaper Mitts, Roza's Socks, Moderne Log Cabin Blanket, and Anthropologie Capelet! I haven't had only one WIP on the needles in a very long time...I feel compelled to cast on for something soon. :)

Nice work! You are such an inspiration. :)
Don't worry! I had the same problem with the lace. I'm pretty sure I was over thinking it! :P
